Nova Verta is a top of the line energy saving system, which is good news for the local community since waterbourne products dramatically reduce the amount of solvent and volatile organic compounds (VOC) that would otherwise evaporate into the air.
The federal government recently announced its Climate Change Plan for reducing green house gas emissions by 18 percent by the year 2010. As part of the plan, the federal government will bring forward a regulation to limit VOC content in automotive refinish coatings in Canada by January 1, 2009. Tri-County Ford voluntarily made the switch well ahead of the required timing and is happy to embrace the green technology.
