- The available panoramic Vista Roof features a large forward panel
that tilts up or opens fully, plus a fixed-rear skylight. So whether
you're sitting up front or seated in back, Vista Roof lets in more of
the world above.
- Choose lighting that fits your mood with the seven-color programmable
ambient lighting feature that's standard in Limited and Sport and available
on SEL. LEDs tastefully illuminate various areas throughout the interior
such as the front footwells, storage bins and cupholders.
- Activate available Adaptive Cruise Control and it functions just like
normal cruise control - with one exception. When its sensors detect
traffic slowing immediately ahead of you based on your preset distance,
your vehicle also slows down. When its sensors detect traffic has cleared,
your vehicle resumes the set speed. Collision Warning with Brake Support
helps in case an accident appears imminent. This function will alert
you if it senses a potential collision with the car in front of you.
A "heads-up" display, which simulates brake lights, flashes
on the windshield and emits and audible alert. If you don't react and
a collision is imminent, the brakes will precharge and increase brake
assist sensitivity to provide full responsiveness when you brake.
- The 2012 Edge features a power liftgate for added convenience. Just
press a button on the key fob or inside the cabin, and the power liftgate
opens or closes.

controls and voice commands, it's an intuitive, easy-to-use way to control
your vehicle's systems as you drive. The system combines two five-way
switch pads on the steering wheel with three LCD screens - two in the
instrument cluster, and one in the center stack. MyFord Touch features
an 8-inch touch-screen display in the center stack. The customizable
displays let you decide what you see on your vehicle's instrument panel.
And the controls are so natural - much like a mobile phone interface
